SAY HEY: JBJ

“This kid can not hit in the big leagues” is all we heard from scouts and analysts when they talked about 26-year old Jackie Bradley, Jr. “He is a tremendous outfielder, with an amazing arm, he just may not ever figure it out at the plate.” Well, the big guys were wrong.

The starting center fielder for the Boston Red Sox has now proven everyone wrong. JBJ is having an all-star like beginning to the season.  Bradley, is not just hitting for contact, but showing us he has power as well, hitting the ball over the more than just a couple of times on his current streak.

What streak you ask?

JBJ is currently on a league leading 24 game hitting streak. Yes, you read that right.

TWENTY FOUR GAMES.

Jackie Bradley current streak of 24 straight games with a hit has shown us all that he can hit and will continue to hit up on the big leagues. On this current run, JBJ is hitting .407, with 17 extra-base hits and 28 RBIs. His season stats are now at .338, 7 home runs, and 32 RBIs.

Look for JBJ to continue his streak as the Red Sox come home to begin a series with the Cleveland Indians.
