The NHL Does It Again

Friday and Saturday night will give hockey fans two versions of Game 7. One east coast style and one west coast style. HERE WE GO!!!

Chicago and Anaheim have shown once again the Western Conference has teams looking for blood. The Blackhawks forced game 7 after a 5-2 victory at the Madhouse on Madison in Game 6.

New York went down to Tampa in game 6 and showed the Lightning why they were the top team in the east. Derek Brassard’s hat trick was nothing short of awesome and the King was well the King in goal.

Game 7 in the West will be played at the Honda Center in Anaheim. Last year’s game 7 went to overtime and the road team took it. Anaheim hasn’t been in a Stanley Cup since 2007, which they won. Chicago will be looking for their 3rd Stanley cup since 2010.

The Rangers will play their 3rd game 7 of this playoff season. Hank has shown he is the king right now but the Triplets for Tampa will stop at nothing to continue this youth movement. This is Tampas third Conference Final game 7, last one they had was played at the TD Garden and finished with a 1-0 loss to Boston.

These two games will be must-see tv. The NHL playoff ARE THE BEST playoffs in all of sports. Yeah I just said that, but truth be told when you get two Game 7s then you must watch. Ive been on the Blackhawks bandwagon since day 1 so give me them 4-2. For the east, I will be saying Viva La Blue Shirts, Rangers win in OT 3-2.

Be ready for Doc Emrick’s near heart failure. The best play caller in the game. “MY GOODNESS” will be ringing in all of our ears for months to come after this awesome weekend of hockey.
